45% Carignan, with 35% Grenache and 20% Syrah, aged in barrels, this is a deep inky purple. The nose is hot and smoky, showing some oak. It's a big mouthful, still chewy but with spicy black fruits. Good balance, concentrated and long. Whiie very drinkable now, it will age well for a few more years yet. Excellent value.
