90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The wine is partly aged in vats, plus 8 months in French oak barrels (30% new, 70% one wine). Fresh, lively fruit with soft, elegant tannins. A vibrant red with a rich aromatic nose of blueberry, plum and chocolate. Medium-bodied and succulent on the palate with generous silky tannins and a touch of freshness from the Cabernet Franc. Good, clean and lively finish. Great with red meat dishes, roasted, braised or grilled. Try with an oven baked Camembert.
