The grower, Jean-Marie Chaland, feels that the vines this wine comes from are now, at more than 40 years of age, getting interesting. It's a small, half a hectare parcel, on clay and limestone. There's a lovely elegant nose, and a smooth, balanced palate which lingers in the mouth.
