While Grenache Blanc is better known in the southern Rhone and Languedoc, it's being grown to great effect elsewhere too. Here it's from 500m up in the Catalonian hills, and made using wild yeasts. It's both organic and vegan. There's stony fruit on the nose, a little spice and good weight in the mouth. It finishes slightly nutty (in a good way!). At around £10 it's very good value both to drink on its own or with even quite substantial food.
