Godello, a white grape found largely in Galicia, can produce stunning wines, most notably in the Valdeorras subregion. Pagos del Galir is a splendid example. On the nose there's a hint of apple and stone fruits, reflected on the palate which is full, silky smooth, well balanced and long. Mouthfilling and complex, this is one to dwell over.
