Zwillingslauser -"naughty twins" - is not the vineyard name. Rather it's the name of the wine, which is based on fruit from Ried Kittmannsberg, a warm south-facing site with granitic heat retaining soils perfect for Grüner Veltliner.

  • Vintage: 2021

    Bottle Size: 75cl

    ABV: 12.5%

    Grape: Grüner Veltliner

  • It's pale lemon, with a slight spritz, and a light fresh nose. Good flavour & fruit, with hints of apricots, lemon and pear, and a long clean finish. Perfect for seafood. "Slightly timid nose at this point. But it's very recognisably varietal on the palate with cornichons and spritz and bit of herbiness. Finishes attractively dry and racy. I should think the nose will develop over the next year. Very promising." 16+ Drink 2021-2023, Jancis Robinson, October 2021
