A rich dark ruby, with subtle perfumed notes of violets, black cherry and mulberry, followed by spicy flavours of black pepper and fennel. The silky, rich palate is complemented with concentrated fruit and dense, silky tannins, and a lingering spicy finish. The perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes, or served as a standalone wine to be enjoyed slowly on its own.
 
While delicious now, there's plenty of life left in this to allow a few more years of aging.
