From the Ribera del Guadiana DO of the Extremadura region of Spain. The Matanegra sub zone area where Bodegas Toribio is located has a unique microclimate, soil rich in minerals and is slightly cooler than the other sub-zones of the DO.
Vina Puebla Seleccion is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah aged for 6 months in new oak barrels.   It has a dark red colour, and a great nose of dark fruits, toasted spices and oak that all come through on the palate as well, and are now very well blended into a complex, well balanced whole. A joy!
